About Van Mossel Automotive Group
Van Mossel Automotive Group is a family business that, over more than 75 years, has grown into the largest automotive group in the Benelux, with more than 6,700 employees and 450+ locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom. More than 170,000 cars are sold every year. Besides car sales, Van Mossel offers services in leasing, insurance, financing, damage repair, energy, fleet management and maintenance.
The challenge
Van Mossel's rapid growth (with hundreds of new international locations in just a few years) made data integration increasingly complex. Every acquisition brought its own systems: its own financial system, its own DMS (dealer management system), its own HR tools. All these systems had to be embedded quickly in Van Mossel's IT infrastructure.

One-to-one connections between applications are not feasible for us. They are not monitored, and when something goes wrong, the IT team has no control. My goal is therefore for CloverDX to be at the centre of all our integrations.

The approach with CloverDX
With CloverDX as the central integration layer, all applications and data flows were brought together in one manageable platform. C-data designed and implemented the integration architecture: a robust, transparent set-up in which all data flows are visible, monitorable and recoverable.
We need one shared reality about what every location and every car is. That sounds simple, but with more than 400 locations (where every dealer enters information in their own way) it is enormously inconsistent and error-prone. CloverDX enables us to standardise, centralise and validate all information from multiple sources.
