Governance: control over data, privacy and the responsible use of AI
Good governance is indispensable for organisations that want to use data and AI responsibly.
C-data translates laws and regulations into workable agreements that support rather than hinder.
Our approach
Governance that works in day-to-day practice
C-data's approach to data governance connects policy, processes and people. We make sure that agreements on data quality, security, privacy and responsible use are not only documented, but actually followed.
Laws and regulations are becoming ever more complex, while dependence on data keeps growing. C-data's strength lies in the combination of subject-matter expertise and pragmatism. This creates control, trust and a solid basis for data-driven and AI-driven working.
- Policy, processes and people as one whole
- Pragmatic translation of the GDPR and EU AI Act
- Governance that supports rather than hinders
- From awareness to embedding in the organisation

Two concrete governance services
C-data offers concrete support on the two most urgent governance issues: the Data Protection Officer (GDPR) and compliance with the EU AI Act.
DPO as a Service
Privacy remains an essential part of governance. C-data supports organisations with the role and positioning of the Data Protection Officer, in both an advisory and an executive capacity. A flexible fulfilment of the DPO role (without permanent employment), but with full expertise and a formal appointment. EU AI Act
European AI legislation has a major impact on organisations that apply AI or use data for automated decision-making. C-data supports awareness, interpretation and compliance, so you gain insight into risk classifications, responsibilities and what is needed to work in a compliant and future-oriented way.
Article 4: AI literacy as a legal obligation
Since August 2024, the EU AI Act requires organisations that deploy AI systems to actively work on the AI literacy of their staff. C-data offers targeted training to meet these requirements and ensures your staff can use AI responsibly and effectively.
- Awareness training (art. 4)
- Risk classification of AI systems
- Mapping responsibilities and roles
- Compliance roadmap and implementation support
