Our partners

We choose our partners on merit, not on commission

C-data works with a select group of technology partners. Not because it is commercially attractive, but because we believe these are the best solutions for our clients.

C CloverDX Exasol MariaDB

C-data is independent. That is a deliberate choice. We choose our technology partners solely on the basis of technical quality, maturity and suitability for our clients' challenges. No exclusive reseller contracts, no volume targets, no commission incentives that push your interests aside. If a particular platform fits your situation better than our standard partners, we simply tell you.

Strategic partners

Three partners, three convictions

Every choice of partner is well-founded. Below we explain why.

CloverDX
The integration platform that makes processes manageable
CloverDX is the central integration platform C-data uses to design, automate and monitor data pipelines. We chose CloverDX because the platform combines transparency and manageability with the power needed for complex, large-scale integrations. Unlike point-to-point connections or generic cloud tools, CloverDX provides one central place where all data flows come together, are visible and can be managed.
Why CloverDX and not an alternative?
Full insight
Every data flow is visible, monitorable and traceable. So no black boxes.
On-premise and cloud
Full control over where data is stored and how it is processed. In charge of data sovereignty.
Scalable to any volume
From a single integration to 13,000+ data tasks per week.
Trainable for clients
Clients can learn CloverDX and manage it independently. This prevents perpetual vendor dependency.
The stability of CloverDX is crucial for us — without that stability we have no reliable data and we lose track of what is happening in the organisation.

Exasol
The fastest analytical database for data-intensive organisations
Exasol is an in-memory analytical database that, through parallel processing and columnar storage, is exceptionally fast on complex queries over large datasets. C-data chose Exasol because our clients are increasingly faced with growing data volumes and rising demands on query performance. Standard databases then simply become too slow.
Why Exasol and not Snowflake or BigQuery?
Extremely fast queries
In-memory processing makes Exasol ten to a hundred times faster than traditional databases on analytical workloads.
Installable on-premise
Unlike purely cloud-based alternatives, Exasol also runs on-premise, which safeguards data sovereignty.
No tuning needed
Exasol optimises query execution automatically! So less DBA work and more focus on the data itself.
Proven at large volumes
Suitable for terabytes of data with near-real-time dashboard performance, even without extra hardware.

MariaDB
Open source, powerful and without vendor lock-in
MariaDB is the open-source successor to MySQL, with an active community, strong performance and broad applicability. C-data chooses MariaDB for clients who value openness, sovereignty and avoiding vendor lock-in. No hidden dependencies, yet enterprise-grade capabilities.
Why MariaDB and not MySQL or PostgreSQL?
Open-source software
Fully open source under the GPL. Paid Enterprise & Support available
Data sovereignty
Runs on-premise, in a private cloud or hybrid — data stays where you want it.
MySQL-compatible
Seamless migration from existing MySQL environments without code changes in applications.
Active community
Fast bug fixes, regular releases and broad tooling support from a large open-source community.

How we select our partners

We evaluate potential technology partners against a fixed set of criteria. Only when a platform convinces on every point do we call it a partner.

Technical superiority
The platform is demonstrably better than alternatives at the core function it is used for.
Client interest first
The partnership improves the outcome for the client.
Independence guaranteed
We always continue to advise based on the client's situation, even if that means a different platform.
Data sovereignty
The platform supports on-premise or private cloud deployment. Clients decide where their data is stored.
Transferability
Clients can learn to manage the platform independently, so there is no perpetual dependency on C-data.

Questions about our technology choices?

We are happy to explain why we choose a particular platform or when something else is a better fit. Always honest, always independent.
